Verse of the Day: That is why he says, Thus saith the Lord God, Though I have discarded them among the nations, and scattered them throughout the countries, yet I will serve them as a sanctuary for a time in the countries where they have gone (Ezekiel 11:16)
Although the use of public means of grace is prohibited, we will not be deprived of all means of grace. The Lord, who places His people where He feels exiled, He himself will be with his people and will be everything to him, so that they may feel at home, rather than his solemn assemblies. Apply this truth to yourself, that you are called to wander!
- God is a place of refuge for His people.
- The salvos find in him a sanctuary to take refuge from all opponents.
- God is also his place of worship.
- God is with them.
- As He was with Jacob.
- When he slept in the field.
- And when he got up.
- He said.
- “Truly.
- Is the Lord in this place?”(Mt 28:16).
- For his people.
- God will be a sanctuary of serenity.
- As in the Most Holy.
- Which was the lord’s quietest abode.
- They will be calm.
- Without fear of evil.
God Himself, in Jesus Christ, is the sanctuary of mercy. The ark of the covenant is the Lord Jesus; and the rod of Aarón, the bowl with maná and the tables of the law, everything is in Christ, our sanctuary. In God we find a sanctuary of holiness and communion. O Lord, keep this promise and always be a sanctuary for us!
