Live at stake: evangelization at the Olympic Games

The morning mists cover the hills of Rio de Janeiro and a helicopter flies in the air that seems to record an event. The statue of Christ the Redeemer is obscured by a gray mist, while the whole city awakens. Today, teams will mingle with tourists and locals, in front of the crowd to distribute books, maps and brochures.

On Saturday, the Faithful team visited ten churches. We found rooms full of brown boxes and men and women excited about the cast. We organized by language, took some photos and discussed this last weekend of distribution during the first events of the Olympic Games. the truth with all open mind to receive it.

  • This week’s goals are twofold: putting resources in the hands of a million men.
  • Women and children and encouraging local churches in their outreach efforts.
  • To this end.
  • We encourage a combination of conversational evangelization.
  • With the wide distribution of these books.
  • And pray that the Spirit will act happily for both of them.
  • May his Word come to life in the hearts and lives of all Rio.
  • And may the fruit be extended to as many cities and countries as we have gathered here.
