June 5th? Daily devotion CHARLES SPURGEON

Verse of the day :?And the Lord closed the door behind him?(Genesis 7. 16)

With loving hands, Noah was closed, separated from all others. The door to election is between us and the world where evil exists. We are not of the world, just as our Lord was not of the world (see John 17:14). . We cannot enter into sin and the searches of the multitude. We cannot play on the streets of Vanity Fair, with the children of darkness, because Heavenly Father has locked us inside. Noah was closed to his God. ? Enter the ark?(Genesis 7. 1), was the Lord’s invitation by which he stated that he himself intended to live in the ark, with his servant and his family, in this way all the chosen remain in God and God in them. The chosen are enclosed in the same circle in which God is, in the Person of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Oh, let’s never forget the funny call!

  • Come.
  • My people.
  • Enter your quarters.
  • Close the doors behind you and hide for a moment.
  • Until the outrage passes.
  • Noah was closed in such a way that no evil could reach him.
  • The waters of the flood only lifted Noah.
  • Bringing him closer to heaven; and the gusts of wind pushed him in his way.
  • Outside the ark.
  • Everything was in ruins; Inside.
  • Everything was quiet and at peace; without Christ we perish.
  • But in Christ there is perfect security; Noah was so locked in the ark that he didn’t even want to go out; those who are in Christ Jesus are in him forever.
  • He will never leave again.
  • For eternal fidelity has closed them and hellish wickedness cannot bring them out.
  • Does the prince of David’s house have the key.
  • Which closes and no one will open it?(Revelation 3.
  • 7).

In the last days, the Lord of the House will rise up and close the door. In vain, simple philosophers will call and shout, “Lord, Lord, open the door to us. “That same door that will close the careful virgins inside. Leave out fools forever; Lord, lock me in your kingdom with your grace.
