June 30th? Back and forth

Verse of the Day: I will remember the covenant I made with you in the days of your youth and make an eternal covenant with you (Ezekiel 16. 60)

Despite the occurrence of our sins, God remains faithful in His love for us.

  • God looks back.
  • Notice how he remembers the first few days.
  • When he received us in alliance with himself and gave himself up.
  • Those were very happy days! The Lord does not rebuke us using these days and does not accuse us of lack of sincerity.
  • Not.
  • On the contrary.
  • He looks at his covenant with us.
  • Instead of looking at our covenant with him: on God’s part.
  • There is absolutely nothing hypocrisy in this sacred covenant.
  • How kind is our Lord.
  • Who thus looks back with love!.

God also looks to the future. He has determined that his alliance will not fail. If we don’t stay true to his alliance, he will. The Lord solemnly said, “I will make an eternal covenant with you. “It’s not about canceling your promises. Bless your name. Does the Lord contemplate the sacred seal? And he remembers our guarantor, in whom he confirmed the covenant, his own beloved Son. Therefore, God will honor the covenant’s commitments. ” He remains faithful, because he can in no way deny himself?(2 Tim 2. 13).

O Lord, record this promise in my heart and make me feed it all day
