June 2nd? Daily devotion CHARLES SPURGEON

Verse of the day: “Why does the flesh militate against the Spirit and the Spirit against the flesh?”(Galatians 5. 17)

In the mind of every believer, there is a constant struggle of the old nature against the new nature, the old nature is very active and does not miss the opportunity to use all the weapons in its deadly arsenal against newborn grace. the new nature is always on the prowl to resist and destroy its enemy. Grace in our minds will use prayer, faith, hope, and love to drive out evil. Armor of God? (Ephesians 6. 11) and fight with fervor. These two opposing natures will never stop fighting while we are in this world.

  • Christian.
  • Bunyan’s pilgrim.
  • Fought Apoliom for many hours.
  • But Christian’s struggle against himself lasted all the way from the narrow door to Jordan.
  • Although we are troubled and often in painful struggles.
  • We have a powerful helper: Jesus.
  • The captain of our salvation.
  • Are you still with us and assure us that we will be more than winners?(Romans 8:37) through him.
  • With such help.
  • Newborn nature is a powerful fighter for its enemies.
  • Are satan.
  • The world.
  • And the flesh against you?Don’t be discouraged.
  • God Himself is by your side.
  • Jehovah-Nissi is his flag; and Jehovah-Rapha is the one who heals his wounds.
  • Don’t worry.
  • You’ll emerge victorious.
  • Because who can defeat the Omnipotence?Keep fighting.
  • Looking at Jesus (see Hebrews 12:2)! Although the conflict is long and arduous.
  • The victory will be sweet and the promised reward will be glorious.
  • Jesus.
  • The captain of our salvation.
  • Assures us that in due course we will be more than victors through the One who loved us.

We are force-to-force; We fight, fight and pray. We have gained all the powers of darkness and, on the day of the good fight, we have won!
