Verse of the day: Throw your bread into the water, for after several days you will find it (Ecclesiastes 11. 1).
We should not expect to receive the reward immediately for all the good we do; nor should we focus our efforts on people and places that can offer us a reward for our work. The Egyptians threw their seed into the waters of the Nile, which seemed an absolute waste of such a seed. But when the time came, the waters calmed down, the seeds of rice and other grains poured into the fertile mud; and quickly produces a harvest. Let us do good for good and evil today. Let us proclaim the gospel to the careless and stubborn. Non-promising waters can cover hopeful soils. Our work in the Lord will never be useless.
- We must throw our bread into the water; the fulfillment of the promise belongs to God: “After several days you will find it.
- “He won’t let his promise fail.
- His good Word we have announced will remain alive and will be found by us.
- Maybe not now.
- But one day we will reap the fruits of what we have sown.
- We must be patient.
- Because the Lord may want to use it.
- After several days.
- Do the scriptures claim.
- And in many cases.
- These days last for months and years; however.
- The Word remains true.
- God’s promise is fulfilled.
- Let us take care to obey this precept and obey it today.
