Verse of the day π I give you eternal life; will never perish?(John 10:28)
The believer should never think or speak lightly of unbelief. When a child of God suspects the love, truth, and faithfulness of God, he causes immense discontent with his Father. How can we cry to God because we doubt his sustaining grace? The believer, forgotten or allowed to die, would be contrary to all the precious promises of God. If that were possible, how could he who said: “Can a woman forget the child who is still nursing so as not to have mercy on the child in her womb?” But even if she forgets, will I still forget you? (Isaiah 49:15). What would be the value of the promise: βFor the mountains will retreat and the hills will be raised; but will not my mercy depart from you, and will not the covenant of my peace be taken away, says the Lord, who has compassion on you? (Isaiah 54. 10). Where would the truth of the words of Christ be? I give you eternal life; they will never perish and no one will snatch them out of my hand. What my Father has given me is greater than anything else; And can no one snatch from the hand of the Father? (John 10:28, 29).
- Where would the doctrines of grace be? Everything would be discussed if a son of God perished Where would God’s truthfulness.
- His honor.
- His power.
- His grace.
- His covenant.
- His oath be if one of those who placed his trust in Christ was expelled?Unbeliever fears that dishonor God so much.
- Get up.
- Dust off and put on your beautiful dresses.
- Remember: it is a sin to doubt the Word of God.
- In which He promised that you will never perish.
- Let eternal life in you be expressed in confident joy.
