Verse of the day: My eyes will seek the faithful of the earth, that they may live with me; He who walks on a straight path will serve me (Psalm 101. 6).
If David spoke this way, we can be sure that the Son of David thought in the same way, Jesus seeks faithful men and sets his eyes on them to observe, manifest, encourage, and reward them; no sincere believer should think it is forgotten. The king himself has his eyes set on this believer.
- There are two results of this observation made by the king: First.
- We read: “To live with me”.
- The Lord Jesus brings the faithful to his house.
- Places them in his palace.
- In fact his companions rejoice in communion.
- With them.
- We must be faithful to our Lord; He.
- In turn.
- Will manifest himself to us; when our loyalty cost us dearly.
- It will be well rewarded; the more they reject us furiously.
- The more joyful the Lord will receive us.
Then the Lord says of the faithful believer, “He will serve me. “Jesus will use for his glory those who despise the artifices of the spirit and are faithful to himself, his Word, and his cross. These will be the steps of the King. Jesus; will be Her Majesty’s honorable seventh. Communion with him and utility are the reward of the faithful. Lord, give me faithful, so I can stay with you and serve you.
