When will I be satisfied?
Verse of the day: I have made your name known to them and will make it known, that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I am in them (John 17:26).
Imagine being able to enjoy what is most enjoyed with unlimited power and passion forever.
That’s not our current experience. Three things stand in the way of our complete satisfaction in this world.
But if Jesus’ plan in John 17:26 becomes reality, all this will change.
If God’s liking in the Son becomes our liking, then the object of our liking, Jesus, will have inexhaustible personal value. This will never get boring, disappointing or frustrating. No treasure greater than that of the Son of God can be conceived.
Moreover, our ability to savor this inexhaustible treasure will not be limited by human weaknesses, we will enjoy the Son of God with the joy of his Father.
God’s joy in his Son will be in us and be ours; and it will never end, because neither the Father nor the Son ever ends. Your mutual love will be our love for them and therefore our love for them will never end.
