Verse of the day: I will see you again; your heart will rejoice (John 16:22)
Surely the Lord Jesus will come a second time, at that moment we will see Him, He will see us and there will be a true joy, O that this joyful return will happen soon!
- But this promise is being fulfilled day by day in a different way.
- Our merciful Lord uses many of them in his dealings with us.
- He has given us forgiveness and contemplates us “again”.
- To repeat the phrase of absolution.
- When new sins cause us anguish.
- He revealed our acceptance to God; and.
- When our confidence in this blessing becomes a little dark.
- He turns again to us and says.
- “Peace be with you?”(Jo 20:21).
- Our hearts rejoice.
Beloved, all our past mercy is proof of future mercy. If Jesus were with us, He would see us again. Do not consider any past favors to be something dead and buried, of which we must repent; Think of it as a seed that will grow, raising its head off the ground and shouting, “I’ll see him again. “Is it our dark time because Jesus is not with us now as He was when He first arrived?because he is with us and will soon return visibly; their feet resemble those of a mountain goat or those of a deer and will soon be brought to us; therefore, let us begin to rejoice, for he immediately declares to us, “I will see you again. “
