Because don’t get discouraged
Verse of the day: Although our outside man is corrupted, however, our inner man is renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16)
- Paulo no longer sees like before (and there were no glasses).
- No longer hears as before (and there were no hearing aids).
- Does not recover from blows as before (and there were no antibiotics).
- ).
- Its strength.
- Walking from city to city.
- Is no longer like before.
- He sees the wrinkles on his face and neck.
- Your memory isn’t that good.
- And he admits that he is a threat to his faith.
- His joy and his courage.
But don’t be discouraged. Because?
He is not discouraged because his inner man is renewed.
The renewal of his heart comes from something very surprising: he has just looked at what he cannot see.
Pay no attention to what you see, but to what you don’t see; Because those who see each other are temporary and those who do not see the other are eternal?(2 Corinthians 4:18).
This is Paul’s way of not being discouraged: looking at what we don’t see. What did you see?
A few verses later, in 2 Corinthians 5. 7, he says, “We walk by faith and not by what we see. “That doesn’t mean I’m jumping in the dark without proof of what’s out there. This means that, for now, the most precious and important realities in the world are beyond our physical senses.
We are seeking these invisible things through the gospel, are we strengthening our hearts?Let us renew our worth, focusing our gaze on the invisible and objective truth we see in the testimony of those who have seen Christ face to face.
