July 26th? A change

Verse of the day: On this day, said the Lord, she will call me: My husband, and he will no longer call me, My Baal. I’m going to remove the names of the Baals from your mouth, and I don’t remember those names (Osses 2:16-17).

That day has come. We no longer see our God as Baal, a tyrant and despot lord, because we are no longer under the law, but under grace. Now we think of Jehovah, our God, as our husband, our beloved husband, our Lord in love, our closest relative through the bonds of a sacred relationship. We don’t love him any less, but we love him more. We do not serve it with less obedience, but we serve it for a higher and more emotional reason. your eyelashes already, but rejoice in your love. The slave becomes a son and service in pleasure.

  • Is this true for you.
  • Dear reader.
  • Has servile fear taken away from divine grace and filial love implanted? How happy are those who enjoy this experience! Now we call The Lord’s Day a pleasure.
  • And worshipping Him is no longer exhausting.
  • Prayer is now a privilege and praise is a joy.
  • Obedience is paradise; Contributing to God’s work is a feast.
  • So all things became new.
  • Our lips are full of songs and our hearts are full of music.
  • Blessed be our heavenly husband.
  • For ever and ever.
