Verse of the day: Don’t forget one of its advantages (Psalm 103. 2).
Seeing God’s hand working in the lives of the saints of the past brings us pleasure: God’s goodness to deliver them, his mercy to forgive them, and his faithfulness to keep his covenant with them. However, it is much more interesting to see God. Shouldn’t we consider our own history to be at least as full of God, his goodness, and his truth as proof of his faithfulness and truth as much as the life of one of the saints in the world? We commit an injustice against our Lord, when we imagine that He has done all his mighty works in ancient times and that He does no wonders or strips of His holy arm (see Isaiah 52. 10) by the Saints of our time.
- We need to re-examine our own lives.
- In doing so.
- We will surely discover happy events that will refresh our souls and glorify our God.
- Have you not known liberation?Haven’t you received any divine manifestations.
- Have you received any special favors?Did the God who granted Solomon the desire of your heart hear your prayers and answer your calls? This God of overabundance of generosity.
- Who David sang: “Who is tired of your old age?(Psalm 103.
- 5).
- Have you ever been satisfied with have you ever slept in the green pastures?Have you ever been guided to calm waters? Certainly.
- God’s goodness proved as good to us as it was to the Saints of the past.
We enter into a song with God’s mercy; let us do with the pure gold of gratitude and the jewels of praise another crown for the head of Jesus; Let us sing our souls, songs as pleasant and joyful as those that sprang from David’s harp, while praising the Lord, whose mercy is forever.
