Verse of the day: Blessed are those who weep, for they shall receive consolation (Matthew 5. 4).
It is through the valley of tears that we come to Zion, one might think that weeping and being blessed are things that stand in the way; however, the infinitely wise Savior unies them in this bliss. What he united, men should not separate him, regretting our sins and the sins of others?it is the seal of the Lord printed on his faithful. When the Spirit of Grace is scattered over The House of David, or any other house, its members weep. Through this sacred cry, we receive the best of our blessings; as well as the weirdest team that comes to us through hard work. He who mourns will not only be blessed in the future, but the Lord Jesus himself pronounces his blessing upon him now.
- The Holy Spirit will certainly comfort hearts that weep for sin.
- They will be comforted by the application of Christ’s blood and by the purifying power of the Holy Ghost.
- They will be comforted by the abundant sin of their city and their time.
- By the certainty that God will glorify himself.
- Even if men rebel much against him.
- Those who weep will be comforted in the hope that they will be completely free from sin and will soon be taken away.
- To live forever in the glorious presence of their Lord.
