Just a little bit
Verse of the Day: Now, the God of all grace, who in Christ has called you to his eternal glory, after suffering for a time, will perfect, strengthen, strengthen, and sustain himself (1 Stone 5. 10). )
- Sometimes.
- Amid the afflictions and tensions of daily life.
- We can exclaim.
- “How long.
- Lord?I can’t see beyond today’s pain.
- What will tomorrow bring?.
This question is absolutely urgent, because Jesus said, “Whoever endures to the end will be saved?(Mark 13. 13). Do we shudder at the thought of being among those who retreat into doom?(Hebrews 10. 39). Suffering is a terrible threat to faith in God’s future grace.
Therefore, it is wonderful to hear Peter promise afflicted and weary Christians that he is the God of all grace, who in Christ has called them to their eternal glory, after suffering for a time, will perfect, strengthen, strengthen, and justify?(1 Peter 5. 10).
The certainty that it will take no longer than we can bear and that it will annihilate the failures that we regret and that will establish forever that which has wavered for so long, this security comes from ‘all grace’.
Isn’t God the God of a little grace, he is the God of all grace?including the infinite and inexhaustible reserves of future grace.
Faith in this grace is the key to staying on the narrow and difficult path that leads to life.
