January 29th? Obedience brings blessings

Verse of the Day: Keep and keep all these words that I command you, that it may be good to you and your children, after you, forever, when you do what is good and just in the eyes of the Lord your God. (Deuteronomy 12. 28)

Although salvation does not come from the works of the law, the blessings promised by obedience are not denied to God’s faithful servants. Our Lord took away the curses of the law, when He Himself became a curse in our place; but no sentence of blessings has been overturned.

  • We must observe and listen to the Lord’s revealed will.
  • Paying attention to all these words and not just a part of them.
  • We must not select or choose parts of His Word.
  • But show impartial respect for all that God has commanded us.
  • This is the path to happiness for parents and their children.
  • The Lord’s blessing is upon his elderly until the third and fourth generation.
  • If you walk before God.
  • He will let everyone know that the chosen ones are a people whom the Lord has blessed.

No blessing will come upon us and our descendants because of dishonesty or a dubious life. Following the conformity and impurity of the world cannot bring any advantage to us or our loved ones. Everything will be fine with us when we walk right before God. Dishonesty will not make us prosperous either; everything that pleases God will also do to us.
