The experience key
Verse of the day: God can make you abound in all grace, so that, always having enough conceit in everything, you may overflow in every good work (2 Corinthians 9,8).
- We know that faith in God’s future grace is the experimental key to generosity.
- For in 2 Corinthians.
- Paul presents this wonderful promise:?God can make you abound in grace.
- So that.
- Always having.
- In everything.
- Broad enough.
- Overabundant in any good work?(2 Corinthians 9: 8).
In other words, if you want to be free of the need to save your money, if you want to overflow (free!) In every good job, then put your faith in future grace. Trust in the promise that “God can make Abound in grace?”every future moment for this purpose.
I have just called faith in the future grace, the key to experience, to generosity, without denying that there is also a historical key, there is a key to experience and a key to history, and speaking of the grace they received, Paul reminds the Corinthians: “For do you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, being rich, has become poor for you, so that through your poverty you may become rich?” (2 Corinthians 8: 9).
Without this historical work of grace, the door of Christ-exalting generosity would remain closed, this past grace is the key to love.
However, notice how past grace works in this verse, she made the foundation (Christ became poor) of future grace (so that we could become rich). Thus, the historical key to our generosity works by placing the eertial key of faith in future grace in our hands.
The key to experience for love and generosity is this: to put your faith firmly into future grace, which “God can (in the future) make you abound in all (future) grace” so that your needs are met and you can overwhelm the love of generosity.
The freedom of greed comes from faith in God’s future grace
