A Poem in Genesis 21
If Sara laughed, because she conceived a son in her old age, I will rejoice much more in the virgin’s son. If Abraham laughed, because he was born the son of promise, I will be much happier for the Christmas of the promised Messiah.
- I will rejoice in Christ.
- Who.
- Rather than circumcising myself on the eighth day.
- Has fulfilled the whole law.
- Which I could never do; I will rejoice in Jesus.
- Who is the sacrificed ram instead of the children of Abraham.
- And also the Son who comes from death.
- I will enjoy in the God of Abraham.
- Creator of life of emptiness.
- Redeemer of the children of the mount of sacrifice.
- Who has recreated us through the redemption that is in Christ.
If Sarah were to mock the promise fulfilled, I would be much happier for the promised Christ; If Abraham believed in looking at the stars, I would believe it much more as I looked at the bloody cross and the empty tomb. your laughing mouth and your lips of joy; God made you laugh.
And everyone who heard that would laugh at me
