Verse of the day: The Lord will rejoice again in you to do you good (Deuteronomy 30,9).
God does not unintentionally bless us. There is a kind of desire for God’s charity, he does not expect us to go to him. God is looking for us, because He is pleased to do us good. God does not wait for us; He’s looking for us. In fact, it is the literal translation of Psalm 23. 6: “Goodness and mercy will surely follow me every day of my life. “
- God likes to show mercy.
- Let me repeat this: God likes to show mercy.
- No doubt.
- Is not undecided or insecure in his desire to do good to his people.
- His wrath must be released by a rigid security padlock.
- But his mercy has a quick trigger.
- What did he mean by descending to Mount Sinai and saying to Moses.
- “The Lord.
- The Lord God.
- Merciful and pious.
- Belatedly angry and great in charity and truth?”(Exodus 34.
- 6.
- ACF).
God is never angry or nervous. His anger is never short. On the other hand, it is infinitely active with an absolutely unlimited and endless enthusiasm for the realization of its pleasures.
It’s hard for us to understand this, because we need to sleep every day just to get over it, let alone to develop. We are inconsistent in our pleasures. We get bored and discouraged one day and feel optimistic and excited the next.
We are like little geysers who bubble, sprout and burst uncertainly. But God is like a great Niagara; you look at it and think: it can certainly continue with this force year after year.
That’s how God does us good. He never gets tired of it. Never get bored with that.
