Happy New Year with planned readings and prayers!

Another January is coming and we can’t even plan a Christmas dinner, let alone a year in advance, can we?

It’s still November and I see a huge (giant) book with white pages ready to open, draw, paint and write.

  • I have a watercolor pencil kit.
  • This type of pencils that can wet the graphite tips and then the colors of various pencils can be mixed on paper and this gives me an infinite palette of colors.

Isn’t infinity a scary feature? My limited imagination does not allow me to think of infinity (I am given some panic, I must admit) and so it has been since I was a child when I looked at the starry sky, as it is, in my childhood, in Sao Paulo I could look at the sky and see the stars.

Is infinity the measure? We can’t contain infinity in the box of our minds, can we, but that’s how I see a new year, which although it’s contained in 365 or 366 days, gives me thoughts of infinite possibilities.

But what is this speech? Just so that we remember that there is an infinity in our limited minds and that we can use the production of the thoughts of our minds to renew, innovate our lives.

We don’t have to wait until the new year to start something new. My new year is already taking place from the moment I put my thoughts to work on my New Year plans and projects.

What we plan and do in detail projects works with the organization of our mind to find ways to achieve them.

To start planning a new year, I separate a notebook, calendar or calendar, or all the options and also some applications that help me throughout the year to remember the goals that I have planned, in addition to organizing and reorganizing according to the requirements of the other requests or objectives are met and completed.

I do projects that affect all areas of my life, I start from above: heaven. So the first plans revolve around my spiritual life, because the dead don’t plan!

I always make a plan to read the Bible, I don’t know how people manage to cross the deserts of life without an inexhaustible source of living water, I can’t do it, I just can’t spend my year in the drought, withering my energies, I have to read the Word, I have to have long conversations with our Lord, ponder your answers and have the pleasure of meeting Christ.

There is the power to renew the spirit with the Savior’s wisdom

I also plan another type of reading, at least one book a month, to some it seems little, to others a lot, but it is only a list to give me a direction, because during the trip more reading interests arise and this strategy gives me a break to enter new readings.

One thing I also do is a list of topics that I want to learn or deepen my knowledge and in this list I look for literature, always looking for information with which they already know the subject and giving priority to reliable authors. Sometimes I even bite any author with a controversial perspective to get to know the points to which he should pay more attention and strengthen knowledge so as not to fall into error No more lies!

With the reading plan already chosen, I move on to the second planning point: prayer; I then make a list of general topics (in a notebook dedicated exclusively to prayer) and detail the topics by individuals, organizations and situations. therefore, all my plans, projects, and strategies may depend on our Lord’s direction.

Every month I open a page for the prayer requests of the moment and add the requests, the thanks, the calls that arise during the march.

It doesn’t make sense to plan all year if it’s not possible to execute the plan, so it’s good to do a schedule with the program’s end times, do an annual program, then a monthly program and then do a daily program, detailing what I’m going to do in the day.

It sounds very systematic, but that’s how I don’t waste my daily time thinking about what I’m going to do. You spend time once to do the program and once or twice a year to reorganize, but you don’t waste your precious time every day browsing your Bible for the part you’re going to read that day, and then you realize that the time set aside in the morning to be with the Lord was running out of your fingers for what to read.

In the midst of our chaos of chores, between family, church, ministry, work, studies, lasers and travel, what we need most is quality time. Also set aside special time to practice hospitality, visits, instruction, discipline, advice. it’s love and love doesn’t fail, but it gives and multiplies.

Something extraordinary happens when we involve love in our relationships.

Love! The perfect bond. Love is the arbiter in your heart and also in your planning.

Go ahead, sheep, we have a whole year left!
