Jesus said unto them, They are wrong, they do not know the scriptures or the power of God (Matthew 22. 29).
The spirit of the natural man does not know the power of God, because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 15,50). Those in the flesh cannot please God (Romans 8:8) and, in this state, they will never find Him. Jesus told Nicodemus that he had to be born again before entering the kingdom of God. Much of contemporary preaching comes from flesh-oriented minds. Do men present their interpretations of what they think is the Holy Place of Saints, when they have not even entered it?Still? (Heb 10. 19). God is the spirit, and His worshippers must worship Him in spirit and truth (Jn 4:24).
- What kind of power do we care about: what would impress us most: a miracle or words that strengthen our faith?God determined that man should be saved by the madness of preaching (1 Corinthians 1.
- 21).
- We do not intend to minimize miracles.
- But contemplating them does not strengthen my faith.
- In an invisible reality.
- However.
- Words can do this.
- Especially the words of the scriptures! The same words that the Holy Ghost teaches are capable of nourishing our faith.
- When the word of God is mixed with faith.
- Men have the power to overcome the disappointments of this world.
- In fact.
- Do men need to get to the point of receiving love? That’s right.
- So they can be saved.
There are those who are most interested in physical manifestations, I insist that these people think that the ancient covenant was an alliance linked to the physical aspect of man, in this document God said: Keep these commandments and I will save. you, your home, your farm, your family, your cattle. Everything you need to do and?keep these commandments. The only problem was that man could not obey them. The commandments were written to realize how much, by nature, according to this?he wrote: We know that everything the law says, to those who live in the law, says that all mouths are closed and that all are guilty before God (Rom. 3:19).
God is holy, so are your commandments. However, we cannot imagine that we will not be able to achieve them, so God gave men the opportunity to establish their own righteousness through the observance of the law (Rom . 10:3). If we could keep the Ten Commandments, we would live (see Lv 18. 5). But they have all sinned and lack the glory of God (Romans 3:23). If we face the law, face to face, we will see our great need for the Savior! That’s why God gave us the law. In the very act of giving the law, was Christ reconciling the world with himself?(2 Co 5. 19).
Now, in the time of the new covenant, God’s power is working to free man from sin; God’s power opens man’s understanding to receive the gospel; Now, how will you hear, no one, preaching? And how did someone tell you about Christ, if God does not send him to preach? Therefore, the scriptures affirm: What beautiful health in the mountains are the feet of those who proclaim the good news, who make peace heard, who proclaims good things, who makes salvation heard, which he says to Sia?o: Does your God rule? (It’s 52. 7).
We live in a time of ungodliness! We are in a time when the church, for the most part, follows other gods and preaches another gospel, which does not really correspond to the good news of Scripture. The leaders of many Christian denominations are more interested in establishing large churches than in strengthening the faith. exercised by believers. I say this about them, but it is not limited to? Christian Church? organized. There are literally thousands of people who claim to believe in Jesus, as the Son of God, and yet they do not see the need to separate themselves from this vile and sinful world. They maintain the same relationship with the world that they had before their conversion. They watch the same sinful movies, go to the same inappropriate places, and listen to the same carnal music. If they didn’t tell you they were converted, would you? I would never know. This, beloved, should not be so! Christ died and rose so that we have the power to leave the world and separate from it. Gods? preparing to destroy this world with fire, and we who know this fact are separating ourselves from the world. This does not mean that it already exists. we have reached perfect holiness in our sinful bodies, but our affections have shifted toward God. We no longer want to do the things that separated us from God. Our whole heart has been transformed.
The message of the gospel and good news for all who believe in it. Tell us that God loved us so much that He sent His own Son to die in our place. That’s what true love means! The world talks a lot about love, but it doesn’t know its true meaning, because it knows it; it is a fact that those who are in the flesh cannot understand; God prepared the means by which He could blot out our sins, because He knew we couldn’t do it on our own. He gave us the law to convince us of that fact. And in Christ, he revealed his purpose to bring many children to Christ. Glory. What is the size? Our God! Recognizing that this message is so special, why doesn’t everyone announce it? At first this sounds strange, but let’s consider for a moment what is involved in faith in the gospel.
The gospel invites men to leave life in the flesh and live in the Spirit; this compels them to despise the desires of the flesh, eyes, and pride of life (1 John 2:16); should be considered dead to sin. to live for God, you must carry your cross every day and follow Christ wherever he takes you. Do they need to receive love? It is true that they can be saved from the false doctrine that, like water, seems to cover the whole earth in these last days.
The Gospel imposes more demands on man than the law; So what is the difference between the gospel and the law?The gospel brings to man the power and understanding necessary to overcome current afflictions. God invites men to leave this wicked world to be saved from the coming wrath. that we have been accepted into Christ, because God shows us what it takes to gain that trust. The main work is to believe what God says about His Son. Do all other things flow from our faith? In Christ Jesus. In faith, we can please God, but without him, there is no possibility of satisfying Him (see He 11:6).
What should be our response to these truths?Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38). seal of the new covenant!God has promised to give us His Spirit! If he had lived in knots and tera communion with us. Considering this truth does not necessarily mean a great church on earth. However, when will God return to Jesus? The earth, if it had gathered its redeemed people, from the earth. It will be a special people, jealous of good deeds!
As before, did we say that the power of God, in the present, manifests itself primarily by leading men to?Consider the following verses: “Because I am not ashamed of the gospel, why?Is it the power of God for the salvation of all who believe, first from the Jew and also from the Greek?(Rom. 1:16); “Certainly the word of the cross is? Madness for the lost, but for us, who are saved, power of God?”(1 Co 1:18); “We do not preach the crucified Christ, scandal for the Jews, foolishness for the Gentiles; But to the called, Jews and Greeks, do we preach christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God?(1 Co 1. 23-24); my word and my preaching were not in a persuasive language of wisdom. , but in demonstration of the Spirit and power, so that your faith may be heard not based on human wisdom, but on the power of God?
When our gospel is preached in a complete and powerful way and the Holy Ghost is sent from heaven, our churches not only keep their own, but obtain others converted; But when will the strength of the Church disappear, that is, when the gospel is covered and the life of prayer is neglected?everything becomes a simple physical and fictional appearance. Therefore, our hearts are wounded by sadness. Charles Haddon Spurgeon
Who doesn’t pray his flock doesn’t preach to him?Richard Baxter
