Have you ever been disappointed to be second, or happy because “today is Friday”?Deep down, these feelings can be a misunderstanding of the nature of the job. In the book “Wise Men,” John Crotts talks about the “ethics of God’s work. “
One day, I ran into a Christian who owned a painting business, in our conversation, challenged me to love hard work, said a person who loves hard work would love everything in life. Some typical kids think today. Some men revolve their whole lives around the weekend. If you ask them how they are, they’ll growl, “It’s Monday. “Later in the week, they begin to get excited. ” How are you?”they ask. ” Great,” they say, “tomorrow is Friday. ” The bottom line is that the work week is bad, while the weekends are good.
- This attitude to work is totally anti-bibolic.
- Although weekends are great.
- Avoid going for the weekend.
- Avoid such expressions and don’t think like that.
- Anti-work attitudes pollute your heart and negatively affect those around you.
- Rather than taking people into a wise lifestyle.
- You could sink to become a talented man means having your mindset about God-shaped life through the Bible.
- How does a God-fearing man think on Monday? What does wisdom teach us about our attitude toward work? Before seeking sayings.
- It is important to establish some biblical foundations.
Discovering the original source of the work surprises some people. Contrary to popular opinion, the play itself was not a cosmic punishment imposed on humanity. God created the work before mankind fell into sin. Everything before the fall was good.
God has even devised hard work for the good of mankind. The difficulties at work today do not come from a failure in the project, but from the injection of sin. After Adam and Eve sinned in the garden, Adam’s task became painful. In response to Adam’s disobedience, the sweat and fatigue factors at work, which we still experience today, were specifically added.
The so-called Protestant work ethic stems from the diligent work habits of the English Puritans. Although Puritans seek neither wealth nor luxury, they often enjoy prosperity through their hard work. Work habits are ordered in the Scriptures. The apostle Paul had a strong exhortation for some within the Church of Thessalonica for his mediocre work habits. Some of them had stopped working because of their expectation of the Lord’s next return. “If Jesus returns, why bother to work!” They thought. Although they waited, they apparently depended on the generosity of the other church members who were still working. Paul condemned this kind of thinking.
For Paul’s example and clear order, he calls Christians to be faithful workers.
Men are motivated to work hard for a variety of reasons, some people want more. Others are eager to take an exotic vacation, the thirst for recognition seduces some men to spend overtime at work, but a wise man works carefully for a different reason, although keeping the family and even going on vacation are important reasons to work (see 1 Timothy 5. 8), there is a better motivation behind hard work. The Fear of the Lord inspires a disciplined work ethic, even when no one is there. Knowing that the Lord Jesus is watching challenges the sage to work faithfully. 3: 23-24 brought this mentality even to those who worked as slaves: “Whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that you will receive the Lord’s inheritance. Christ, the Lord,” you serve
This attitude does not lead us to neglect other responsibilities (such as family or church) in the search for work, work, work, however, radically affects what you assume and how you assume your responsibilities in the workplace (whether at work). or at school). Throughout the Book of Proverbs, hard work is a feature of someone who lives skillfully. Proverbs 6. 6-11 presents two ideas about the wisdom of being a diligent worker.
