In 2010, a young Guinean seminarian studying MS joined the Adopte a Pastor Ministry. Over a three-year period, Brother Miguel Indibe received 39 books from the Faithful Editor and had the opportunity to participate in three conferences for pastors and leaders.
While still a seminarian, he tried to spread the faithful ministry in his native country and, as a result, more Guinean pastors were adopted and included in the MAP. In 2014, he returned to Guinea-Bissau with his family, dreaming of the possibility. After seeing one of Fiel’s conferences in his country as it was already happening in Mozambique, and a solid doctrine taught in seminaries and churches, then he became a representative of the WFP in his country.
- As we prayed to the Lord for the possibility of a first conference of the faithful in Guinea-Bissau.
- Professor Indibe sent us the following email:.
“We are satisfied with the books that have come to us. This has been a very important tool for the advancement of the Lord’s work.
The challenges here are enormous and one of the realities we have experienced today is related to the advancement of Islam in the country. Today, Arab countries are making large investments in the country, building mosques and implementing social projects that attract the population.
The Evangelical Church has made a great effort! Even with very few resources available, we evangelize and establish churches. We are witnessing conversions, but in most cases these converts do not have a suitable place (temple) to meet.
Continue to pray for us, may God set fire to the hearts of Christian countries to invest in the Lord’s work in our nation.
As for your coming, we’re still waiting, in fact, to talk about the possibility of you coming this year to organize this congress, we’re counting on that, it would be great.
May the Lord bless you, Miguel Indibe?
