Verse of the Day: If you turn to the Almighty, you will be restored (Job 22. 23).
Elifaz, in these words, uttered a great truth, which is the summary of much of the inspired scriptures. Reader, has sin overwhelmed you?Has God’s hand risen against you, so that you are in a state of impoverishment and, in spirit, you are despondent? Was it your own madness that caused you all this misery? What you have to do is convert to the Lord; with deep repentance and sincere faith, he embarks on the path of your apostasy; it is up to you, for you have turned away from the one who confessed to serving; that’s where your wisdom lies, because you can’t fight. Him and prosper. This is his immediate need, because what God has done does not compare to what He can do on the path of punishment, for He is all-powerful to punish.
- Notice that this promise invites you to turn to Him.
- You’ll be “restored.
- ” No one.
- Except the Almighty.
- Can lay the pillars and rebuild the amazing walls of his state.
- But God can.
- And will.
- If you convert to Him.
- Don’t delay.
- Your broken mind will disappoint you if you continue to rebel; a humble confession will relieve you and humble faith will bring you comfort.
- Do it and you’ll be fine.
