February 20th? Continuous guidance

Verse of the day: The Lord will guide you continually. (Isaiah 58. 11)

You’re trapped in a dense forest and can’t get out of it?Stand still and look at the lord’s salvation. I know the way out and will guide you to find it, if you just call it.

  • Every day brings its own perplexities.
  • How nice it is to feel that the Lord’s direction is continuous! If we choose to follow our own path or consult the flesh and blood.
  • We will despise the Lord’s direction.
  • But if we refrain from doing our own He will guide us on every step of our journey.
  • Every hour of the day.
  • Every day of the year.
  • Every year of our lives.
  • If we simply want to be guided by God.
  • We really will be.
  • The Lord.
  • He will guide the course of our lives.
  • So that we do not get perished.

But let’s see who God made this promise to. Let us read the previous verse: “If you open your soul to the hungry?”(Is 58. 10). We need to feel the needs of others and give them not only dry cereals, but what we would like to receive ourselves. If we show a compassionate interest in our neighbor at the time of his needs, the Lord will provide us and be ours. Jesus is not a guide to the wretched and oppressive, but merciful and good servants. They’re pilgrims and they’ll never get lost.
