Verse of the day: I afflicted you, but I will no longer afflict you (Nahum 1. 12).
There’s a limit to anguish. God sends him and takes it away. You sigh and say, “When will this end?” Remember that your pains will surely end when this poor mortal life is over. Let us wait calmly and patiently for the will of the Lord until he returns.
- Meanwhile.
- Heavenly Father is removing his rod.
- While his purpose in using it is already fully fulfilled.
- When I correct our madness.
- There will be no more sticks.
- Or.
- If affliction is sent to show us that our virtues can glorify God.
- It will end when the Lord testifies to us of His praise.
- We should not want affliction removed until God takes away all the honor we may be able to impose on him.
Today, there must be one? (Mt 8:26) Who knows how fast angry waves will give way to calm seas and seabirds will float on soft waves? After a day of intense work, the decks are suspended and the wheat is stored in the barn. Before it’s been many hours. We can feel as happy as we are now saddened. It is not difficult for the Lord to turn night into day. Whoever sends the clouds can also lighten the sky. Let’s be in a good mood. It’d be better than before. Let’s sing the hallelujah beforehand.
