February 12th? God is pleased to give

Verse of the day: The Lord said to Abram, after Lot had turned away from him: Look up and look from where you are north, south, east, and west; for all this land that you see, I will give it to you and your offspring forever (Genesis 13:14-15).

This is a special blessing for a memorable occasion. Abram had just resolved a family dispute. He said, “Is there no conflict between you and me?Why are we parents? (Genesis 13. 8); and after that he received the blessing that belongs to the peacemakers. The Lord and peacemaker are pleased to express his grace to those who seek peace and follow it. If we want a more intimate communion with God, we must stay closer to the ways of peace.

  • Abram behaved very generously with his relative.
  • Offering him the choice of land.
  • If we renounce peace.
  • The Lord will compensate us.
  • Any part that the patriarch could see of this land could claim it; we must do the same.
  • By faith.
  • Abram had to wait for possession of the earth.
  • But the Lord bequeathed it to him and his posterity.
  • Unlimited blessings belong to us because of the gift of the grace of the covenant.
  • It’s all ours.
  • When we like the Lord God.
  • He makes us look around and see that everything is ours.
  • Present.
  • And future.
  • They are all ours; and we of Christ; and Christ.
  • Of God.
