Don’t waste your quarantine

Christians are called to glorify God in all that they do (1:10:31), but how can we put this into practice in a pandemic situation?Demand in quiet times: to love the Lord with all your heart, strength, and soul, and to love one’s neighbour as yourself.

Just as we can’t waste our lives, we can’t waste our quarantine.

“Rather, in the law of the Lord is thy will, and day and night you meditate on thy law. “Psalm 1: 2

Even at a time when we are not socializing as much as we would like, we can water the greatest and most important relationship we have, the relationship with Jesus.

Take on the challenge of reading as many scriptures as possible, or study a book of the Bible thoroughly. Take the opportunity to take your theological doubts and try to understand more difficult biblical passages. You don’t need to be with many people to understand it. connect, only one.

And how will they preach if they are not sent? As it says: What beautiful feet do those who announce good things have?Romans 10:15

Thank God for the technology! Today, we can share the gospel in many ways. Start making intentional video calls, call your friends, and talk about the beauty and glory of the gospel. Be creative!

With this scenario, many people may be more open to having a conversation about eternity. The best thing is that you, the Christian, have the answers these people are looking for. Share about eternal life!

“How iron with iron sharpens, so man, his friend. “Proverbs 27:17

God has given us brothers and sisters in the faith to encourage and encourage us. We need communion and deep conversations about our faith, you understand!

Call your family of faith, video with other believers, and discuss spiritual issues, or do bible study together. We will spend eternity with these people, we must love to be with them.

“Think of the things above, not the things here on earth. Colossses 3: 2

Look what you’re seeing and listening to! Disbelief, anxiety, and despair can haunt the Christian’s heart and mind when he feeds on news, movies, series, music, and books that do not build or show a world without God.

Meditate on Philippians 4: 6-8, which says

Don’t worry about anything; In all, however, make known your requests before God, with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will keep his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, all that is true, all that is respectable, all that is just, everything pure, everything beautiful, all that is of good fame, if there is virtue and if there is praise, everything that occupies your thought.

What should we do when anxiety tempts us? Pray to God. What should our minds occupy? Which is true, respectable, just, pure, kind. Do you think about these things?

“I will not put unjust thing before my eyes; I hate the defeat of the way-hearted; none of this will catch up with me. Away from me the wicked heart, do you not want to know evil?Psalm 101: 3-4

Praise God for the books and movies that build our faith!Fill your mind with what can strengthen your faith, not destroy it. Read books by good Christian authors, watch Christian movies and videos, read good blogs, listen to music about Christ’s faithfulness and kindness.

God never simply asks us to take what is evil, He tells us to take the old and put the new. Eliminate what damages your affection for Christ and put on what magnifies and glorifies the Lord Jesus.

Enjoy everything that fits the List of Philippians 4:8 and glorify God with your entertainment!

For the Lord God is sun and shield; The Lord gives grace and glory; no property escapes those who walk in a straight line. Psalm 84:11

All that the Lord God promises, He will!Remind your heart of the Father’s promises and never forget that He supports and keeps us!Make a list of God’s promises to strengthen your faith and try to memorize them!

Trust in God’s promises encourages us to fight sin. Have and keep these promises, that we can love them and have them as treasures, because they are!

Prayer is vital to the Christian life. J. C. Ryle says

“You cannot know God in Christ if you do not speak to Him in prayer. If you want to be with him in heaven, you must be one of his friends on earth. If you want to be one of his friends on earth, you must pray?

Through prayer, the Lord strengthens our faith and shows us how real his faithfulness and goodness are. He is the author and consumer of our faith. Do not be in a hurry in prayer, as a believer, you are called to have intimacy with the throne of grace, to enjoy and to pour out your heart. Bring your fears and anxieties to Christ, because He takes care of you!

Take the opportunity to pray for your brethren, your family, for the conversion of those who do not know the Lord, for your local church, and for all that the Lord puts in your heart.

In this quarantine, always do what God calls you to do: love, serve, and obey.
