Does social action take us away from the gospel?

Do you often ask me what my is? Position?About social justice and the gospel. Normally, I look interrogatively before I ask that person, “What do you mean by that?”In general, what they mean is how to find a balance: love people and provide for them. instead of preaching the gospel to them?

There’s the problem (for me, anyway). I have absolutely no problem balancing the gospel with justice and defense and this is my great secret. Wait a minute?drum roll for favor. NO THE SEPARO. I’m not smart (no, not at all)? Here’s what I mean.

  • I simply preach the gospel because I have no other answers to the many needs of my fellow men.
  • I do this with a tremendous sense of gratitude for what God has accomplished in my life.
  • He saved me from the mud.
  • Cleansed me.
  • And brought me back to participate as a great example of the power of the gospel and the glory of God as it is in Jesus Christ.
  • On the way.
  • People fed me.
  • Dressed me and put a roof over my head.
  • They loved me.
  • Advised me.
  • Scolded me.
  • And even listened to me! But if I have never been confronted with the sin of my sin.
  • My desperate condition under the judgment of a just.
  • Loving.
  • Just and holy God; If they weren’t begging me to repent of my sins and put my faith and trust only in the finished work of Jesus on Calvary.
  • Then I don’t know where I would be.
  • Well.
  • I actually know exactly where I would be.
  • Or even in jail.
  • Thinking of the goodness of some Christians? that she gave me something to eat once.
  • But never had the courage to share Christ with me in an understandable and relevant way.
  • Or worse.
  • And more likely.
  • Murdered along with many of my friends.
  • Dead and facing eternity in a place I can barely imagine?.

Justice and social action should not take us away from the gospel, nor should the gospel prevent us from social action and justice. Zedek? And

Peace.
