Doctrines of Grace in Verses (Unconditional Choice)

We recently made the first publication of the Doctrines of Grace, today we publish, just below, the second Doctrine of Grace: Unconditional Choice.

We present some bible passages that point to this doctrine, but we have not exhausted the passages that teach this doctrine.

The five biblical doctrines of grace are

Unconditional choice is the doctrine that teaches that God chooses certain people to be the object of His saving grace. His choice was not based on good deeds or a predicted faith. The choice was made exclusively by God’s choice, by his grace.

The Father chooses, the Son saves, and the Holy Spirit regenerates.

1. For thou, Lord God, have separated them from all the peoples of the earth for thy inheritance, as you said by your servant Moses, when thou hast brought our fathers out of Egypt. 1 Kings 8. 53

Therefore, he pities those who love him and also hardens those he likes. But you will tell me: what does he keep complaining about? Because who has never resisted his will? Who are you, oh man, to argue with God ?! Perhaps the object can ask those who made it: why did they make me like this? Or does not the potter have a right over the dough, to make a vessel for honor and another for dishonor with the same clay? What shall we say, then, if God, wanting to show his wrath and make his power known, endured the vessels of wrath, prepared for perdition, with great patience, so that he too could make known his riches? glory in vessels of mercy, which he prepared in advance for glory, who are we, whom he also called, not only among Jews, but also among Gentiles? 14. So, also in today’s time, the remnant survives according to the choice of grace; and if it is by grace, it is no longer by works; otherwise, grace is no longer grace.
