Can I grow outside of the local church? Yes and no
Are you probably going to grow up? It works more or less like this: Separated from the local church, it seems that he has gained 20 kg in weight and that he has only worked his right arm for a long time and has never worked his left arm. Would you like to grow up? Yes, your arm would grow, you’d get taller and taller, then you could lift the weight of 30kg, you’d have a huge biceps, but your other arm would look completely worn out and weak, because it didn’t work both arms, it didn’t work all over your body.
I’d say the same applies to church life. Ephesians 4 indicates that the way to grow is together, as a community of faith. Paul says: It is through the just cooperation of every individual that we grow in everything in what is the head, Christ. This is how we grow in the likeness of Christ; through the equitable cooperation of each part of the community of believers. That is why we need others, because God has designed it in such a way that you are not an island, but part of an organism; you have a function and your health depends on the other parts of your body that do their job and the health of the rest of the body depends on your work, you take the heart out of the body, it jumps a little and that’s the idea of Ephesians 4.
So if you ask, “Can a person grow outside of the local church?” Up to a point, yes. But if you really grow in knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the gospel, you will get to the part of the Bible that talks about the importance of the local church, and you will fit in, because in the end, that’s where you will grow. . healthy, not distorted or uneven.
