Blessed are those who weep, for they shall be comforted; (Matthew 5:4)

Jesus cries 3 times
Jesus’ weeping is linked to God’s distant condition of his people, which He himself demonstrated on the cross. Do we cry for our distance from God?
For although my letter bothered me, I do not regret it, although I regret seeing that this letter has bothered you, even for a short time, now I am happy, not because you are sad, but because you were sad to repent; for you have been afflicted according to God; so that you have not suffered any harm for us; for sorrow according to God produces repentance for salvation, of which no one repents; but the sadness of the world produces death. ?(2 Corinthians 7: 8-10)
When was the last time you cried for your sins?Have you felt a holy sorrow according to God for your condition? When there is no contrition or repentance, Christianity is exchanged for a simple ticket to heaven.
If you, my brother, are willing to mourn for every sin the Spirit reminds you of, you will feel the holy joy of comfort. “If we confess our sins, is He faithful and righteous to forgive our sins and cleanse us of all injustice?(1 John 1:9).
