The gospel remains available to all who receive it; God’s love is not small and does not discriminate; it’s not for a few. He loved the whole world.
- What does God’s love mean in John 3:16? I hope your Bibles are still open.
- “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son.
- That whoever believes in him may not perish.
- But have eternal life.
- “.
And it is very important that we do not come up with our natural preconceived ideas about love, which were not learned in the Bible, to make the Bible say what we think love is. We must humble ourselves and ask ourselves, “What do you say? God, help me with the broader context and fulness of your revelation to know what your love means in this verse.
There are some amazing things that are pretty obvious, aren’t there?
Number one: God loves the world. I trust mainly in last week’s message: God loves the world, that is, He loves all the great fallen human beings, everyone.
Number two: This love is of such a kind, of such intensity, of such magnitude that it led him to give up his Son to die for the world.
Number three: An undeniable purpose and effect of your love is: he who believes in him will not die, but will have eternal life, that is, this love opens the door for all who believe to have eternal life.
Number four: this love is therefore blind. You can say, promise and apply to anyone, without exception, because that’s what it says here.
It is said of love, according to this verse, if you believe in my Son, I will give you eternal life. I can do it fairly, because my Son forgave the debt of those who believe, so if you believe, your debt is canceled! This is my love for you: I gave up my Son, so that by simply trusting in him as the only condition, you could live happily with me forever.
Therefore, we can say to every human being: God loves you, and this is how He loves you: He gave himself as a Son to die, that if you believe, your sins may be forgiven and you will live with him forever. It is the way to preach John 3:16. Personally, we are in the pulpit. So is this what God’s love means, the promises, in John 3:16?
That is why God has used this verse in a tremendous way to save millions of people. Express what we call the “free offer of the gospel. ” I love the free gift of the gospel. There are no limits to this offer! It applies to all ethnic groups, to all generations, to all socioeconomic classes and, better yet, to all kinds of sinners, from worst to worst, and of any other kind. God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, so that everyone, indifferently and universally, who believes in him will not be lost, but may have eternal life.
