The spiritual problems exposed by mania (impulsivity, reluctance to follow or listen to counsel, a tendency to follow a path with painful consequences) are addressed in the books of wisdom of the scriptures. Your goal is to become an expert in this literature. the Old Testament and James of the New Testament must be among his best friends. You must know them intimately.
- Wisdom teaches us to live as God created us to live.
- Redefine what is truly natural to the human condition.
- As you can imagine.
- Begin with God.
- Consider these verses: “The fear of the Lord is the principle of knowledge.
- But do fools despise wisdom and teaching?(Pv 1.
- 7) Why does the Lord give wisdom.
- And intelligence and intelligence come out of his mouth?(Pv 2.
- 6).
Fear of Señor. Si has manic cycles, naturally you’ll want to take those extremes to a more normal range, and the only way to do that is through medications. However, he cannot ignore the obvious: life is about living for God in the constantly expanding kingdom of heaven, where Jesus Christ is king. On a more personal level, life is about knowing your Father so that you can love Him and become more so. Don’t let infatuation take you away from your most important task. Because he needs wisdom more than ever in the face of his manic cycles, the Knowledge and Fear of the Lord is essential.
How is the fear of the Lord presented? It comes in a life of humble submission to God.
This means recognizing your constant dependence and the need for your advice on everything. To grow in this way, allow the Bible to cause in you a desire for the Fear of the Lord. Pray for it. Ask the class to talk to him about the true God, whom should be honored and revered. Ask for advice. You may have heard this before, but you may lose sight of it quickly. The humility that comes from the Fear of the Lord teaches us that we are beings who need the counsel of others. Consider these verses:
“If there is no wise direction, people fall, but in the multitude of counselors, is there security?”(Pr 11. 14).
“The way of the madman in his own eyes seems straight, but does the sage hear the counsel?(Pv 12. 15).
Do you listen to the counsel and receive instructions to be wise in your coming days?(Pv 19. 20).
God created us to live interdependently. When you’re a maniac, the advice of others is like a bucket of cold water over a wonderful, hot fire. This means that you must begin this course of wisdom immediately. Do you know two or three wise men who would give you practical and sincere advice? It can be difficult to find spiritually mature people while attentive to the special challenges of mania. Some people are intimidated by madness and prefer to call an “expert. “Someone who has already helped others with this problem.
If you cannot immediately find a group of wise counselors, remember that wisdom is rooted in the Fear of the Lord, so look for those who have an ever-increasing knowledge of Jesus Christ and a history of spiritual faithfulness, ask for his help, and wait a time when You can also offer them advice and suggestions. Get used to following the advice of your mentors as long as at least two of them agree. This will become an excellent protection for you, with or without mania.
Look, you may have noticed that you talk more when you enter a mania phase. Sometimes you talk more; others, less. When you or someone else realizes you’re talking more than usual, it’s a good idea to switch to listening. As you read the books of Proverbs and James, notice how often you find exhortations to listen. His goal is to become a skilled listener of God and others. If you listen to God, you also listen to others. And if you listen to others, you’ll probably grow up listening to God.
Walk humbly with Seigneur. La wisdom can be summed up as a lifestyle in which you walk humbly with the Lord. We walk with him to grow in wisdom and please him with this approach. We walk humbly because we are sinners who sangre. de Jesus to wash us, so that we may experience the Father’s continued forgiveness and remain in contact with Him. And we walk humbly because it is natural for us to walk this way throughout our lives after realizing that we are beings who need God’s counsel. and others.
