Biblical evangelization

Evangelizas? If so, how do you evangelize?

Do you evangelize like the Bible tells us to evangelize? If so, how do you know? Are you sure about that?

In fact, did you know that 80-90% of people accept Christ?

The reason for all this was this man-centered gospel preached in pulpits, televisions, and houses, where well-being and prosperity have become the blood of our Lord.

Grace is no longer enough (even if we sing and find it so sweet). What we really want is secrecy?fill the void we feel with a strainer (of a dead spirit that only God can resurrect); Today we aspire to the best of our lives, rather than taking our cross and refusing; we want to know the laws of prosperity, without the Spirit of holiness; and, to justify ourselves, we try to be motivated and successful leaders, before we become Christians whose joy comes first in Him; and saints well accepted by the world despite the Words of Jesus.

Like Paul Washer [1]

“We don’t know the gospel of Jesus Christ, all we know are four spiritual laws or?Five things God wants you to know?

May you who turn the house of God into commerce; they sell their CDs, sell their false miracles, sell their fake ations, sell false promises of prosperity, when in reality only you have prospered. How will you escape this terrible righteous judge?

John 2: 13-17 AFC

And the Passover of the Jews was near, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem, and found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the seated changers; and having made a burst of rope, he threw everyone out of the temple. , also oxen and sheep; and hand out money from the money changers, and flip the tables; and he said to those who sold pigeons: Get them out of here, and don’t turn my father’s house into a sales house. And his disciples remembered what is written: The zeal of thy house shall devour me.

Biblical Evangelization: Repentance and Faith

Having already briefly analyzed the root of the problem discussed, we will now learn how to truly evangelize according to the Bible. I’m certainly not an example of evangelism. Therefore, this text also works for me. From afar, this will not be a profound or satisfactory explanation, but rather an introduction to make us look for more.

Let’s look at how four people in the New Testament preached: (For a better understanding of each text, I suggest reading the whole chapter. Background)

Luke 3: 2, 3, 7, 8, 18; Niv

It was in that year that the word of the Lord came to John, son of Zechariah, in the wilderness. He traveled throughout the region near Jordan, preaching a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

John told the crowd that they had come to be baptized by him: “Race of snakes!Who gave you the idea of escaping imminent anger?Use fruits that show repentance.

In many other words, John exhorted the people and preached the good news to them.

Acts 2: 36-41; Niv

“Wherefore, all Israel be sure of this: This Jesus, whom thou crucified, God made Lord and Christ.

When they heard this, they were troubled in their hearts and asked Peter and the other Apostles, “Brothers, what should we do?”

Peter said, Repent and baptize each of you in the name of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, for it is the promise made to you, your children, and all. to those who are far away, to all who the Lord our God calls?

In other words, he warned them and insisted with them, “Save yourself from this corrupt generation!”Those who accepted the message were baptized, and that day there was an increase of about three thousand people.

Acts 17: 29-31; Niv

Thus, as we are descendants of God, we should not think that the Divinity is like a sculpture in gold, silver, or stone, made by the art and imagination of man; in the past, God did not take into account this ignorance, but now commands all, everywhere, to repent; because he has set a day when he will judge the world fairly, by the man he has appointed. And you proved it to everyone by resurrecting him from the dead?

“See that by accurately explaining what went wrong first, we make the good news really meaningful. If I do not make it clear that the person has broken the law, the good news will seem silly and will be considered an offense. But once you understand that you have broken the law, then good news will become good news?

“If I could, I would declare a moratorium on the public preaching of the so-called “plan of salvation” in this country for a year or two. Then I would call all those who use the media and pulpits to preach God’s holiness, justice, and law, to the point where sinners shout, “But then what do we have to do to save ourselves? Then I would call them to a corner and whisper the gospel in their ears, but without using John 3: 16. Such a drastic measure is necessary because we are forming a hardened generation in the gospel by presenting them first, save yourself without explaining, why, save yourself.
