August 4th? Daily devotion CHARLES SPURGEON

Verse of the day: People who know their God will be strengthened (Daniel 11:32).

Every believer knows that knowing God is the best and most sublime form of knowledge. This spiritual knowledge is a source of power for the believer and strengthens his faith. The scriptures constantly refer to believers as enlightened and taught by the Lord Himself. The scriptures state that believers have the ation of the Holy One (see 1 John 2:20) and that the special function of the Holy Ghost is to guide them through all truth. ; everything for the growth and livelihood of faith. Knowledge strengthens love and invigorates faith. Knowledge opens the door; and through this door we see our Savior. Or, using another figure, knowledge paints an image of the Lord Jesus. And when we see this image, we come to love Jesus. At least to some extent, we cannot love a Christ we love. If we know little about Jesus’ excellences, what He did, and what He does for us now, we cannot love Him so much; However, the more we know Jesus, the more we love Him.

  • How can we expect anything if we are not aware of its existence?Hope may be the telescope.
  • But until we receive instructions.
  • Our ignorance is placed in front of the lens and we can’t see anything.
  • Knowledge eliminates interference.
  • Object.
  • And when we look through the bright lens.
  • We discern glory to reveal it and anticipate it with jubilant confidence.
  • Knowledge gives us reason to be patient.
  • How will we be patient if we do not know anything about Christ’s compassion and do not understand the good of leaving the discipline in which Heavenly Father corrects us?There is not a single virtue of the believer who.
  • In God’s purposes.
  • Is not encouraged and perfected by knowledge.
  • How important is it that we grow up not only in grace?.
  • But also in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?(2 Peter 3:18).
