August 3rd? To holy things

Verse of the day: But if a priest buys a slave with his money, he will eat it; Those who are born in your house will eat your bread. (Leviticus 22. 11)

Foreigners, travelers, and domestic workers should not eat sacred things, so were spiritual things, yet two kinds of people were free to sit at the sacred table, those who had been bought with the priest’s money, and those who were born. in their own homes.

  • Bought and born.
  • It was indisputable proof that someone had a right to holy things.
  • Purchased.
  • Our great High Priest bought at a price all who put their trust in Him.
  • These are his absolute property.
  • That is.
  • They belong entirely.
  • Mr.
  • Not because of what they are in themselves.
  • But because of their own Possessor.
  • They are admitted to privileges similar to those that he himself enjoys and “eat his bread.
  • ” It has food that the people of the world do not ‘Because we are in Christ.
  • We will share these foods with our Lord.

To be born, it is another equally safe path to privilege, if we are born in the house of the priest, we take our place with the rest of the family, the new birth makes us co-heirs and members of the same body, that is why Christ gave us the peace, joy, glory that the Father gave him. Redemption and regeneration have given us a dual right to divine permission for this promise.
