Verse of the day: The Lamb is your lamp. (Revelation 21:23)
Behold the Lamb in silence as the light from heaven. In scripture, light is a symbol of joy. The joy of the heavenly saints is summarized in the following facts: Jesus chose us, loved us, bought us, purified us, clothed us, preserved us, and glorified us. We are here only because of the person of the Lord Jesus. Each of these thoughts is like a bunch of Escol grapes. Light is also the cause of beauty. Nothing beautiful remains when the light goes out. Without light, no spark of the sapphire shines, and the pearl does not reflect any ray of splendor. Therefore, all the glory of the saints in heaven comes from the Lord Jesus. Like the planets, the saints in the sky reflect the light of the Sun of Righteousness. They live as rays coming from the central sphere. If the Lord withdraws, they die. If the glory of Christ is hidden, his glory will end. Light is also a symbol of knowledge. In heaven our knowledge will be perfect, but its source will be the Lord Jesus himself. In the light of the Lamb, the hidden providences, which we never understand, will become evident to us; and simple, all that confuses us now. Oh! What revelations there will be and how we will glorify the God of love!
- Light also means manifestation.
- The light appears.
- Has not yet been revealed in this world what we will be?(1 John 3:2).
- God’s people are a hidden people.
- But when Christ receives it in heaven.
- He will touch it with the scepter of his own love and change it to the image of his manifested glory.
- They were poor and unhappy.
- But what a transformation! They were contaminated by sin; but with a touch of Christ’s hand.
- They will be as bright as the sun and as clear as glass.
- Oh.
- What a demonstration! All this comes from the exalted Lamb.
- Of all that has a radiant splendor.
- Jesus will be the center and the soul.
- O may we be there.
- To see him in his own light.
- The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords!.
