August 2nd? Say what it teaches

Verse of the day: Come on, now, I will be with your mouth and teach you what to say (Exodus 4. 12).

Many of the Lord’s servants find it difficult to speak, and when they are called to defend their Lord, they find themselves in great confusion, because they do not wish to lose a great cause because of their terrible supplication. In this case, it should be remembered that the Lord is the One who has turned his mouths to those who have great difficulty speaking; therefore, we must be careful not to blame our Lord. Sometimes a person with a long tongue is not as bad as those who speak easily; and few words can be more beneficial than a vocabulary deluge. It is also true that true economic power does not depend on human rhetoric with its style figures, elegant phrases and beautiful discourses. The lack of speech control is not as disabling as it seems.

  • If God has our mind and mouth.
  • We will have something better than the vibrant bronze of eloquence or the resonant cymbal of persuasion.
  • God’s teaching is wisdom; your presence is power.
  • Pharaoh had more reason to fear Moses’ stuttering than of Egypt’s most common speakers.
  • For what Moses said had power in himself; pushed pests and deaths.
  • If the Lord is with us.
  • In our natural weakness.
  • We will be clothed with supernatural power.
  • Therefore.
  • Let us speak in the name of Jesus.
  • For it is our duty to do so.
