Verse of the day: I will establish my covenant between you and me and your offspring through their generations, a perpetual covenant, to be your God and your offspring (Genesis 17. 7).
Lord, you have made a covenant with me, your servant, in Christ Jesus, my Lord. Now I beg you: let my children be included in the grace arrangements of this covenant. Let me believe that the covenant you made with me is similar to the one you made with Abraham. I recognize that my children are born into sin and are formed in wickedness, as are the children of all other men. Therefore, I do not ask you anything according to your birth, because I know very well: “What is born of the flesh is flesh?(Jo 3. 6), and nothing else. Lord, make them a reality in the covenant of grace through your Holy Spirit.
