Verse of the day: And before they cry, I will answer; As long as you keep talking, I’ll listen to you. (Isaiah 65:24)
What an immediate job! The Lord listens to us before we invoke Him and often responds at the same speed. Knowing in advance our needs and prayers, God provides for providence in such a way that, even before the need arises, He has already provided it; and, even before He besies us with the test, He protects us from it. It is the availability of omniscience; we’ve often seen him in action. Before we think in advance of the affliction that awaits us, we have already received the mighty comfort that will sustain us in the midst of such affliction. We have an admirable God, who listens and answers prayers!
- The second clause suggests the figure of a phone.
- Although God is in heaven and we are on earth.
- He makes our word equivalent to his own.
- So that he quickly reaches heaven.
- When we pray correctly.
- We speak to the ears of God himself.
- O merciful mediator.
- Immediately submit our requests to the Father; the great God will listen to them and smile at them.
- Who wouldn’t want to be in prayer for long if he knew he had the attention of the king’s ears?On this day I will pray in faith.
- Believing not only that I will be heard.
- But also that I already have the Holy Spirit.
- Help me do this!.
