Verse of the day: You, Eternal, are my lamp; The Lord Enlightens My Darkness (2 Samuel 22. 29)
Am I in the light? Then, Lord, you are my lamp, if you withdraw, my joy will disappear. However, as you are always with me, I can shine without the lights of time and comfort produced by man. What a wonderful light God’s presence spreads in all things! We heard about a lighthouse that could be seen more than twenty miles away. Our Lord, however, is not simply a God very close to us; He is a God visible from afar, even in the land of the enemy. O Lord, I am as happy as an angel, when your love fills my heart.
- Am I in the dark? Then.
- Lord.
- You will light up my darkness and soon things will change.
- Circumstances can get darker and darker and the clouds pile on top of each other.
- And if everything gets so dark that I can’t see my own hands.
- I can still see the Lord’s hand when I can’t find a light in myself.
- Or in my friends.
- Or in the whole world.
- The Lord.
- Who in Genesis said.
- “Is there light? And there was light? You can repeat the same thing.
- He’ll talk to me again in the sun.
- I won I don’t die.
- But I’ll live.
- The day’s almost over.
- This beautiful verse shines like a morning star.
- I will applaud with joy before many hours have passed.
