Verse of the day: And to those who predestined, he also called them; already those he called, also justified; and those he justified, to those he also glorified (Romans 8. 30).
In the interval between eternity spent on God’s predestination and future eternity in God’s glorification, no one is lost.
- No one who is predestined to be a member cannot be called; nor the one who is called ceases to be justified; nor the one who is justified ceases to be glorified; it is an unwavering steel chain of the fidelity of God’s covenant.
And then Paul says
“Am I sure that he who has begun a good work in you will finish it until the day of Christ Jesus?(Philippians 1. 6).
“[He] will also confirm you to the end, to be irrepressible in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. Is God faithful, for whom you are called to the communion of His Son Jesus Christ, our Lord?(1 Corinthians 1. 8 -9).
These are the promises of our God who cannot lie. Those who are born again are as sure as God is faithful.
