Are you afraid of your work?

Sometimes I’m afraid of losing my job. I mean, I work hard, but you never know, do you?Our organization may not be able to get enough resources or the needs of the organization may change.

Or even – and I’m even ashamed to admit it – face a social collapse, as in these apocalyptic films in which this heroic project must defend itself and its two precious children with nothing but their wits and a shotgun, while looters patrol the streets burned in vans full of thugs in the bucket. No, it’s not a big concern, but sometimes it goes through my head.

  • More realistically.
  • International governments could recover our debts.
  • Weaken the dollar.
  • And ruin the economy.
  • So a big natural disaster could happen.
  • Do you think that would never happen?.

It’s not hard to worry about losing your job when you’re having trouble extending your salary until the end of the month or watching the tiles fall one by one in your old bathroom. Should we renovate the bathroom or save money? I wonder if gold is the safest investment. But wait, gold has recently lost its value. Maybe I should invest in personal protection.

Wow, I’m happy to go to church because my mind sometimes flies in absurd directions. Every Sunday, my pastor opens the Good Book and helps me think better.

Let me show you. In the last few months, my pastor has preached the gospel of John, I take good grades You know what encouraged me when I think I’m going to lose my job?

Jesus came to save us from sin

While teaching in John 4, my shepherd told us that Jesus came to save us from sin. Like the Samaritan woman who wanted water, we also have physical needs that need to be met. Jesus cares about these needs, but it is his goal that all the symptoms of the fall, including thirst, sickness and even the loss of work, tell us the true disease: sin.

Does God allow bad things to happen to his children?Someone who loses his job, for example. The Bible promises that we will never lose our jobs. We can lose. But if we’re Christians, do we know what really should scare us?God’s sin and punishment are already resolved, our future is guaranteed.

God shows his glory through trials

When we arrived at John 9, my pastor helped us think more about the difficult times of life: “Put yourself in the shoes of the blind man’s parents,” he says. Imagine living at the time and having a blind baby by birth. You may wonder if you could support yourself, if you would live in poverty, if you would be socially excluded.

How comforting it is to hear the words of Jesus: “Neither he sinned nor his fathers; But did it correspond to God’s works to be revealed in him?(v. 3).

As with the blind, the Bible does not promise that we will not face trials, but promises that God will manifest his glory through the trials of his saints.

Jesus will preserve us

Then my shepherd led us to a great promise in John 10: no one can take his sheep from Jesus. Then he said something interesting: “The scriptures present us as sheep in need. Do you consider yourself a sheep in need, or do you live by the formula?Wealth of health – ??? happiness This equation is a lie, he exclaimed.

Once again, we can lose our jobs, Christianity does not promise us the best of life right now, so abandon false religion and trust that Jesus will preserve us for himself and for eternity.

Perfect moment and love

Next week, my pastor taught us from John 11 that God’s love doesn’t always look like what we expect. Remember when Jesus found out Lazarus was sick?John said to us, “Jesus loved Martha, her sister, and Lazarus. he found out Lazarus was sick, did you spend another two days where you were?Jesus loved you and then let you die?Well, think about what Jesus prayed before resurrecting Lazarus; did all this to make people believe.

“Listen,” says my pastor, “bad things are going to happen. ” And when they do, don’t try to force an explanation. He recognizes that life can be difficult, but stand up. Do you remember what you know about God and think your time and love are perfect?
