Verse of the day: I will live and walk among them; I will be their God and they will be my people (2 Corinthians 6. 16).
This verse is of mutual interest to us, one belongs to the other. God is part of his people and the chosen people are his part. The Saints find their greatest possession in God, and He recognizes them as their particular treasure. What a source of comfort there is in this truth for every believer!
- This happy condition of mutual interest leads to mutual consideration.
- God will always think of his own people.
- And they will always think of his God.
- On this day.
- My God will do everything for me; What can I do for him?My thoughts must turn to my God.
- Because He thinks of me.
- I have to make sure this is the case and not just imagine what should happen.
However, this happy condition leads to mutual communion. God dwells in us, and we remain in Him, God walks with us, and we walk with Him. It’s a happy fraternity!
O may he have the grace to treat the Lord as my God, to trust in Him, and to serve Him as your deity deserves!O love, adore, exalt, and obey the Lord in spirit and truth! It’s the desire of my heart, when I get there, I’ll have found my paradise!Be the one to help me know you as my God, for the love of Jesus!
