April 28th? Daily devotion CHARLES SPURGEON

Verse of the day: “Remember the promise that you made to your servant, in which you made me wait” (Psalm 119. 49).

Whatever your need, you can find a promise right now in the scriptures about it. Tired of being brutal? Here is the promise :?Strengthens the tired and multiplies the strength of the one who has no vigour?(Isaiah 40. 29). When you read this promise, present it again to the Great Promoter and ask him to keep his own words.

  • Are you seeking Christ and longing to have a closer communion with him? This promise shines like a star to you: Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice.
  • Why do they tire? (Matthew 5.
  • 6).
  • Continually present this promise to the throne of grace.
  • Don’t ask for anything else; however.
  • Often turn to God.
  • Saying.
  • “O Lord.
  • You have said it; do what you said? Are you afflicted with sin or weighed down by the enormous weight of your iniquities? Listen to these words: “I myself am the one who blots out your transgressions and sins for me.
  • Don’t I remember? (Isaiah 43.
  • 25).
  • As such.
  • You have no merit in asking for His forgiveness.
  • But asking for His written promises and He promises them.
  • Will fulfill.
  • Are you afraid of not being able to stand firm to the end.
  • And eventually fail even after imagining yourself a child of God? If this is your condition.
  • Present these words at the throne of grace: “For the mountains will retreat and the hills will be taken; but will not my mercy leave you? (Isaiah 54.
  • 10).
  • If you have lost the pleasant sense of the presence of the Savior and you seek him because your heart is sad.
  • Remember: “Turn to me and I will be to you others? “(Malachi 3.
  • 7).
  • ” For a brief moment I left you.
  • But with great mercy I welcome you back.
  • (Isaiah 54: 7).
  • Justify your faith in the Word of God.
  • Whatever your needs or your fears.
  • Go to your Heavenly Father and say.
  • “Remember the promise you made to your servant and kept me waiting.
  • “.
