Verse of the day 😕 But God, with his right hand, exalted him. ?(Acts 5. 31)
Jesus, our Lord, who was crucified, killed and buried, is now seated on the throne of glory; the highest place heaven can offer is its undisputed right; it is a sweet memory that Christ’s exaltation in heaven is representative. He is exalted at the right hand of the Father, like jehovah, he has impending glories that finite creatures cannot share. As Mediator, the Lord Jesus is clothed, in heaven, with the honors that are the legacy of all saints. filled with joy as we reflect on the intimacy of Jesus’ union with his people. We are truly one with him, we are members of his body; and his exaltation is our exaltation. The Lord Jesus has a crown and will give us garlands. He will give us places of honor, for he won and is on the throne, with the Father, he not only enjoys his throne. On your right, your wife must be adorned with gold. He can’t be glorified without his wife.
- Look at Jesus now.
- Let the eyes of faith contemplate him with the many crowns in your head.
- One day you will be like Jesus when you see Him as he is.
- You will not be as powerful or as divine as He is.
- But to some extent you will share the same honors and enjoy the same happiness and dignity that He has.
Just live a little unknown and make your boring journey through the fields of poverty or the hills of affliction. Soon you will rule with Christ, for he made us kings and priests of God (see Revelation 1. 6) and we will rule with him forever and what a wonderful thought for the son of God!Now we have Christ as our glorious Representative in the heavenly court; He will soon return and receive us for himself, to be with him in heaven, to contemplate his glory and share his joy.
