Verse of the day: whoever passes will not be wrong, not even the madman (Isaiah 35:8).
The path to holiness is so direct and obvious that even naive people will not lose it if they constantly follow it. The sages of the world walk in many curves and turns and therefore make serious and terrible mistakes, without reaching the end. The prudence of the world is poor and has a limited perception, and when someone decides to follow it as its path, it takes it to mountains of darkness. People blessed by grace know nothing more than to do what their Lord commands them to do. But this preserves them in the king’s way, leaving them under his protection. The dear reader should not try, even for a moment, to help himself get rid of a difficulty, using lies or a dubious attitude. stay in the midst of the sublime path of truth and integrity; that way, you’ll follow the best possible path. In our lives, we must never take circular paths, nor dream of deceiving others. You have to be fair and not be afraid of anything.
- Follow Jesus and don’t worry about the disastrous consequences.
- If the worst of all evils can be avoided by doing wrong.
- Then.
- In trying to do so.
- We will have fallen into a worse evil than any other.
- God’s way must be the best.
- Follow him.
- Even if men think you’re a fool.
- And you’ll be really wise.
Lord, guide your servants down a flat path because of their enemies
