Verse of the day: that it will transform our body of humiliation, that it may be equal to the body of its glory (Philippians 3:21).
Often, when we are afflicted by pain and become unable to think or worship God, we truly feel that our bodies are the body of our “humiliation. “And when we are tempted by the desires that spring from our flesh, do we not think that the word “humiliation” is too harsh a translation. Our bodies humiliate us; and that’s one of the best things they do for us. Oh, we must be modest, because our bodies associate us with animals and bind us to the dust of the earth!
- Our Savior.
- The Lord Jesus.
- Will change all this.
- We will be transformed in the likeness of his own body of glory.
- And this will happen to all who believe in him.
- By faith.
- Their souls have already been transformed; and their bodies will undergo a type of renewal that will make them fit for their regenerated minds.
- We cannot tell whether this great transformation will take place soon or not; but thinking about it should help us endure today’s trials and all the enemies of our flesh.
- Soon we will be like Jesus now: we will no longer have sore faces.
- Bruised backs.
- Cloudy eyes.
- Tired hearts.
- Whether it’s a group of diseases; nor the sick.
- Burden of agony.
- ?Be like the body of your glory?Even our flesh can rest in the hope of this resurrection!.
