Adoring women

In many passages of the New Testament we find our Lord Jesus surrounded by women, I love to see their care in relationships with women, he did not turn his back on any of them, nor did he despise those who did not believe in God, nor those of another ethnicity, nor sinners condemned and excluded from society, nor the desperate. All the women who approached Jesus were moved in the heart and experienced God’s grace and saw their lives transformed.

Sheep, do you know Jesus simply by listening to Him speak or do you know Him because you have experienced His presence, strength, and power in your life?

  • Today is International Women’s Day and this year we want to praise the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • Remembering one of the women who walked with him and loved him.

Mary stood at the feet of our Lord Jesus to receive her teachings and he said that she had chosen the right part and that she would not take it away from her (Lk 10:39, 42) [i]. Blessed Lord, who allows us to approach him to know his teachings; He who learns that Jesus finds rest for the soul:

Carry my yoke and learn from me, for I am meek and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your soul. Matthew 11:29

Mary confidently awaited jesus’ coming to the death of her brother Lazarus and again stood at her feet, this time she was called by the Lord (Jn 11:28) [ii] to know the resurrection, yes, this woman with her Sister Martha witnessed that Jesus came to resurrect the dead!

Jesus said unto him, I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, even if he dies, will live; and everyone who lives and believes in me will not die forever. You think so? John 11: 25-26

Mary’s love for Jesus was poured out of her soul with joy and joy and she adored the Savior and anointed her feet with a precious fragrance that perfumed the whole house, an omen that we are the good smell of Christ on this earth.

Then Mary, taking a pound of pure, very precious nardo balm, anointed Jesus’ feet and dry them with her hair; and the whole house was filled with a balm smell. John 12. 3

Bless our Lord for creating women who serve, love, and worship Him
